During the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London, main sponsor SAMSUNG used the opportunity to present both its commitment to international sporting and its product portfolio. Several pavilions, the so-called PINs, designed and implemented by hartmannvonsiebenthal in cooperation with Cheil International, were used at different locations.
Their distinct glass and steel structures, used for example in a mobile version that accompanied the Olympic Torch Relay, generated a high-value environment for presenting the SAMSUNG brand and its mobile communications products.
